I've tried switching them on and off, I've tried the same with the software and it's the same everytime, just loading to the first screen when I start up the 2 devices. My Maschine MK3 was working perfectly last time I used it a couple of months ago, but now I have 2 products which both switch on to the screens which tell me what they are, but go no further. I then read that I should have run Komplete Kontrol software before using in Ableton (probably should have been mentioned with the serial number to stop me rushing into it really, but I digress) Yesterday, the newly released driver for the S49 MK2, gave me a spark of hope, because I had the ability to play, record and stop, inside Logic Pro X.
However, while I was waiting for the NI software to download and install, I had a tinkle on the keyboard with Ableton's instruments, and also switched on the Maschine (after the Maschine update failed to install and switched to demo mode) and thus I could see the plug ins in the browser screen on both devices. And, I'm super excited to say works In this video I'm go. After asking on the Native Instruments site forum last night and searching for answers through the NI Support pages and seeing many questions unanswered for days, hopefully I can get a much quicker answer here.īasically, i've registered the product, downloaded all relevant software from Native Access, checked the firmware is up to date. I have tested to use Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S49 in Propellerhead Reason 9.5.
